Derrick White’s 30-point outburst propels Celtics past Knicks

Derrick White showcased his scoring prowess with a season-high 30 points, leading the Boston Celtics (16-5) to a 133-123 triumph over the New York Knicks (12-9) on Friday night.

Kristaps Porzingis, returning after a four-game absence, contributed 21 points to Boston’s victory.

In a dynamic offensive display, Jayson Tatum added 25 points, six rebounds, and five assists, maintaining the Celtics’ undefeated record of 10-0 at home.

However, the game saw a late ejection for Celtics forward Jaylen Brown, who scored 17 points before being tossed midway into the final quarter.

Brown’s ejection raised eyebrows, with the player and coach expressing disagreement over the officiating, emphasizing the need for consistent calls.
