Celtics are optimistic Kristaps Porzingis’ll return to action this week

Kristaps Porzingis won’t be playing in Monday’s in-season tournament quarterfinal against Indiana. However, the Celtics are feeling positive about his potential return later in the week, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

There’s growing confidence that Porzingis could join the lineup for the semifinal, depending on whether Boston advances past the Pacers. If the Celtics secure a victory tonight, the semifinal against either Milwaukee or New York will be on Thursday.

In the event of a loss and elimination, their next game would revert to a regular season contest on Friday.
