Anadolu Efes, plagued by injuries, managed to secure victory against Petkim and claim the top spot in the Turkish BSL, despite the absence of key players Will Clyburn and Shane Larkin.

Larkin was intentionally rested, but Clyburn, an experienced forward, suffered an injury during last week’s EuroLeague clash with Crvena Zvezda.

Initially reported to be out for two weeks, the situation has taken a more concerning turn, with Clyburn expected to miss six weeks of action.

To add to the challenges, Rodrigue Beaubois also sustained an injury in the match against Petkim, and he might be sidelined for approximately three weeks, further testing the team’s depth.

Rodrigue Beaubois is receiving treatment for the injury he suffered in the upper back muscle area, and Will Clyburn, for the injury he sustained in the sole of his foot. Our team doctor Ugur Dilicikik stated that Beaubois would be out of action for about three weeks and Clyburn would be out of action for about six weeks,” per the official announcement.
