Collin Sexton ignites Jazz in overtime win against Trail Blazers

Collin Sexton’s season-high 25 points, coupled with Keyonte George’s career-best 21 points, led the Utah Jazz (7-13) to a thrilling 118-113 overtime victory over the Portland Trail Blazers (6-13) on Saturday night.

In a tightly contested game, Sexton’s impactful performance off the bench, along with George’s all-around contribution of six rebounds and six assists, proved pivotal for the Jazz.

John Collins added 17 points, and Omer Yurtseven dominated the boards with a season-high 15 rebounds, securing Utah’s second home win against Portland this season.

Portland’s Malcolm Brogdon and Shaedon Sharpe responded with 25 points each, while Scoot Henderson contributed a career-high 17 points.

Jerami Grant’s exit to the locker room in the fourth quarter due to a head injury, colliding with Yurtseven, raised concerns for the Trail Blazers. Grant will undergo reexamination in Portland on Sunday to determine if he suffered a concussion.
