Bruce Brown propels Pacers in offensive showcase against Heat

In a scoring rampage against the Miami Heat (11-9), the Indiana Pacers (10-8) unleashed a dazzling offensive display, securing a remarkable 144-129 victory on Saturday night.

Even without their leading scorer Tyrese Haliburton, sidelined due to right knee soreness and an upper respiratory infection, the Pacers showcased their offensive prowess, missing only 14 shots in the last three quarters after a shaky start.

Bruce Brown led the charge with an impressive 30 points, while Obi Toppin contributed 22 to the Pacers’ offensive onslaught. T.J. McConnell, coming off the bench, recorded a stellar performance with 20 points and 11 assists on an efficient 10-for-11 shooting.

Despite Jimmy Butler’s 33-point effort for the Heat and Caleb Martin’s 18 points, the Pacers’ relentless offensive attack proved insurmountable for Miami.

The absence of All-Star center Bam Adebayo, dealing with a bruised left hip, hindered the Heat’s defensive efforts.
