CJ McCollum: “I felt like an old person”

On Wednesday, the New Orleans Pelicans guard CJ McCollum made a successful comeback after being sidelined for 12 games due to a collapsed right lung.

He played for 28 minutes and scored 20 points in the game, as reported by Christian Clark of NOLA. McCollum shared insights into his recovery journey, revealing that he utilized an oxygen tank during the process.

He humorously remarked, “I felt like an old person, I needed oxygen for a while. I asked my wife, ‘Is this what it’s going to be like when I’m older? Pushing oxygen to the bathroom?’ I did that for four or five days and felt great in terms of my breathing. Then it was about ramping up.”
