Former NBA player Jeff Teague, who shared the court with Karl-Anthony Towns during their time with the Minnesota Timberwolves, addressed the question of why the talented center often faces disrespect.

Teague, speaking on Run It Back with Chandler Parsons, humorously suggested, “I don’t know, KAT is one of the best players in the league; I think it’s because he changed his voice in his interviews.”

The comment prompted laughter from the Run It Back crew, and Teague continued, “I think he just gets a bad rep for stuff like that off the court.”

This season the 28-year-old center is averaging 21.2 points, 9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 33.4 minutes per game.
