Rudy Gobert slams Draymond Green after chokehold: Doesn’t want to play without Steph Curry

The NBA In-Season Tournament game between the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves led to an intense start, resulting in the early ejections of three key players.

In the opening minutes, with the game still scoreless, Draymond Green was ejected for putting Minnesota’s Rudy Gobert in a headlock.

It all started with a scuffle between Klay Thompson and Jaden McDaniels, resulting in Thompson’s jersey being ripped and both players getting ejected.

After the game, Gobert didn’t hold back in expressing his disdain for Green’s behavior. “Clown behavior, and I’m proud of myself for being the bigger man again and again,” he said, per Chris Hine.

“And yeah, doesn’t even deserve me putting my hands on him. My team needed me tonight. I did whatever I could to keep my cool and then show that I wasn’t making the situation worse, and I do hope that the league is going to do what needs to be done because that’s just clown behavior. Not much to say. It’s clown behavior.”

Additionally, Gobert took a swipe at Green, suggesting a dependence on Steph Curry. “Every time Steph doesn’t play, he doesn’t want to play without his guy Steph, so he does anything he can to get ejected,” the French center added, per Jon Krawczynski.
