This summer, Jaren Jackson Jr., the Defensive Player of the Year, represented Team USA at the 2023 FIBA World Cup, where the Americans secured the fourth position.

After a less-than-ideal performance by Team USA at the World Cup, veteran NBA superstars like LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Kevin Durant have expressed interest in competing at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, potentially leaving out World Cup players.

In a recent interview with Sportskeeda’s Mark Medina, Jackson expressed his eagerness to play at the 2024 Olympics.

“For sure,” he said. When asked about any official word, he replied, “I haven’t gotten the word. I’ll do it if they ask me. It’s random. You never know. It’s whenever they want to call.”
