James Harden gets taunted by Nets fans with ‘Daryl Morey’ chants

The Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden experienced some heat from his former fanbase on Wednesday night, particularly from chants referencing another one of his former teams.

During free-throw attempts in the early first quarter against the Nets at Barclays Center, the Clippers guard heard chants of “Daryl Morey.” Morey, the president of basketball operations, was someone Harden seemed to have clashed with during his time with the 76ers.

Harden had expressed his desire to be traded away from the 76ers at the start of the offseason, and he recently stated that he felt constrained, describing the experience as being “on a leash” with the team.
