Panathinaikos secures a 52-point victory in the Greek League

Panathinaikos Athens returned strongly to Greek League action, crushing Apollon Patras with a dominant 112-60 victory. This win keeps Panathinaikos as the only undefeated team in the championship five rounds into the season.

Dimitris Moraitis led the scoring with a game-high 16 points, accompanied by five assists. Juancho Hernangomez contributed 13 points and an impressive 11 rebounds for the Greens.

Panathinaikos took control early, establishing a 33-12 lead in the first quarter and maintaining their dominance throughout, finishing with a remarkable 19-33 in three-pointers.

“After the loss to Barcelona we entered this game really concentrated,” said Panathinaikos center Olek Balcerowski who finished with 13 points and nine rebounds. “We knew the opponent we had and did what we had to do to win the game.”
