Renowned NBA star James Harden is set to begin a new chapter in his career with the Los Angeles Clippers, aiming to secure his long-awaited first championship title.

Harden’s journey to the NBA championship has been marked by remarkable achievements and accolades, yet the ultimate goal of claiming the prestigious trophy has eluded him thus far.

In the buildup to his highly anticipated debut game with the Clippers against the New York Knicks, Harden reflected on the significance of clinching an NBA championship before the conclusion of his illustrious career.

“It’s definitely to compete for a championship this last… obviously my entire career that’s the goal,” Harden said. “I think the sacrifice that I made. Just the sacrifice that I made is showing that I’m trying to win a championship. I’d love to.

“There’s a lot different things that come with that. First of all, you have to be really good as a team. And then, the injury and healthy aspect of it as well. It’s all of it part of it. Once we get to postseason, if we have all of those things ready, then we got a chance.”

Acknowledging the evolving landscape of the NBA and the heightened competitiveness within the league, Harden underscored the pivotal role of star power in securing a championship.

“This league is getting getting very, very good. I think you always have to have at least at minimum two guys that can score at high level and create opportunities at high level,” he said.
