Wendell Carter Jr., the center for the Orlando Magic, suffered a fracture of the third metacarpal on his left hand during the team’s win in Utah on Thursday. He will undergo a re-examination upon the team’s return to Orlando on Friday.
Markelle Fultz, dealing with swelling in his left knee, was a late scratch for the game in Utah. Fultz will also undergo a re-examination when the Magic return to Orlando.
Gary Harris, starting in Fultz’s place, left the game early due to a strained right groin. Like the others, Harris will be re-examined upon the team’s return home.
Despite these injuries, the Magic secured a victory against the Jazz, concluding their four-game road trip with a 2-2 record and improving their overall season record to 3-2.
