Derrick Rose, the guard for the Grizzlies, is currently dealing with discomfort in his left knee, as reported by Damichael Cole of The Commercial Appeal.

Coach Taylor Jenkins shared the update on his status ahead of the upcoming game in Utah. Rose is set to sit out the team’s three-game road trip and will undergo reevaluation in a week.

The earliest possible return for the 35-year-old player is in a home game against Miami on November 8.

Rose, who inked a two-year deal with Memphis in the summer, had participated in the initial four games for the winless Grizzlies, serving as the backup point guard.

His stats so far include an average of 8.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 17.8 minutes per game, with a shooting percentage of 32.4% from the floor.
