San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich recently discussed how big man Charles Bassey looked during preseason (averaged 5.8 PPG/6.0 RPG/2.0 APG/1.2 BPG/72.2% FG in five games).

Popovich: “He stays in his lane. He knows he’s a good rebounder, good pick & roll player, great teammate. He’s come a long way. He’s pretty much a neophyte basketball wise, but he’s made good strides.”
