As Bones Hyland prepares for his first full season with the Clippers, the young point guard opened up about the challenges of training alongside two-time NBA champion Kawhi Leonard.
“Kawhi be pushing me a lot man. Every time he comes to guard me, I know I’ve got a challenge. I try to push Kawhi, he’s trying to push me as well. I feel like it’s really good because we push each other,” Hyland said, via ClutchPoints.
Nuggets general manager Calvin Booth recently said that Bones was traded to the Clippers because of his lack of defense.
