Despite the fierce competition awaiting the Lakers in the Western Conference this season, guard Austin Reaves remains optimistic about the team’s prospects.
Last season, the Lakers faced numerous hurdles but managed to secure a spot in the Western Conference Finals where they lost to the eventual champions, the Nuggets.
With several powerhouses like the Suns, Nuggets, and Warriors vying for the top spot in the West, Reaves emphasized the importance of focusing on their own performance and taking charge of their destiny.
“We feel like we can compete with anybody. We just have to handle our business. We know what we need to be successful, it’s on us to go do it,” Reaves said, per Mike Trudell.
