As Klay Thompson approaches the last year of his contract with the Warriors, contract extension talks between the player and the team seem to have hit a standstill.
The 33-year-old basketball star has emphasized his intense drive and unwavering work ethic during this offseason, highlighting a stark contrast to the championship hangover that he experienced in the summer of 2022.
“I was very driven and I worked extremely hard. I know that I don’t have ten more years to do this, so I realize that I must enjoy every single day,” Thompson recently shared on SiriusXM NBA Radio.
“I feel great. It’s the best I’ve physically felt in years. I’m just really excited to show the world I’m still capable of greatness.”
