Panathinaikos underwent significant transformations over the summer, crafting an almost entirely new team under the leadership of two-time EuroLeague champion Ergin Ataman.

Despite these substantial changes, the Turkish coach reveals that the Athens team is actively seeking potential reinforcements, indicating an ongoing quest to further strengthen their roster.

“I can’t say the team is 100% at the moment,” Ataman said. “But we have a group of players who will compete in every way in the Euroleague. But there are some injured players that we cannot replace now. However, we are still active in the market.

“If we find a scorer we will look into it. At the beginning of the season, we tried to sign Svi Mykhailiuk, but he decided to play for the Celtics. Now we are looking at the names of the players who will be released after the camps of the NBA teams.”
