Former NBA superstar Kevin Garnett believes that Kawhi Leonard, the enigmatic Clippers’ forward, has been overlooked but is poised to make a resounding comeback.
In a recent episode of KG Certified, Garnett expressed his admiration for Leonard, stating, “Kawhi’s one of them lost superstars, he’s like Roy Jones Jr., ‘Y’all must’ve forgot!’ We forget how f*cking nice Kawhi is. Because Kawhi one of them ones.”
Garnett placed Leonard in an elite category alongside the likes of Kevin Durant and LeBron James, emphasizing his exceptional talent and impact on the game.
“When he’s it… he’s on that list with [Kevin Durant], he’s on that list with [LeBron James]. He’s on that list as those top fives. I’m looking for him and [Paul George] to get back and restore order,” he said.
Furthermore, Garnett took to X to amplify his sentiments, declaring, “Watch out for Kawhi and PG this year man, I think they about to re-awake the league!”
