Billy Baron, the U.S. guard for Olimpia Milano, is facing an injury setback, as communicated in an update from the team.

The announcement states that Baron is set to undergo surgery on his right elbow, with the procedure scheduled for October 9.

Following the surgery, there will be a six-week rehabilitation period for Baron. The team plans to re-evaluate his condition after this rehabilitation phase.

“Pallacanestro Olimpia Milano announces that, following recent checks, the need has emerged for further surgery to clean Billy Baron’s right elbow. The surgery is scheduled for Monday, October 9. A six-week rehabilitation period will follow, at the end of which he will be re-evaluated,” stated the official announcement from the Italian champions.
