This season, Wade Baldwin IV stays with Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, marking his first consecutive team commitment in five years.
Israel has become his home, and the accomplished guard, recognized in Europe, aims to repay the country.
After three team changes in as many years, he now seeks international success while staying in the same place.
“I would love to play for the Israeli team. I know they need a citizen, and I want to be a part of that,” Baldwin said in an interview with Tomer Givati from Israel Hayom.
“I am very open to the possibility of playing for a national team – it would be wonderful if it could happen here in Israel because it is like home to me.”
For the first time in several years, Wade Baldwin IV will stay on the same team to start the season.
