Former UConn standout Caron Butler wasn’t in college to have fun, it was strictly basketball.

Darius Miles: “Did you feel more mature than everybody?”

Butler: “I did. You gotta think, I already had a kid. So my life experiences is just different. It was a business trip for me. I wasn’t coming to UConn to go to parties, kick it, fraternize, and see what your favorite color was. I came on business. It was a business trip. I was in and out. I loved the memories, but this was the step I had to take. I had to dominate this platform to go to the NBA.”
