Before the season began, Virtus Bologna saw a sudden change in head coach, as Luca Banchi took over from Sergio Scariolo.
The Italian Supercup champions enhanced their coaching team by bringing in Lassi Tuovi.
As the Legabasket season starts, the club has put together a technical staff to support Coach Banchi, and Tuovi has assumed the new role of first assistant coach.
Despite this, Tuovi will continue to lead the Finnish national team, a position he’s held since 2022, where he previously guided the team in the FIBA World Cup and EuroBasket.
