In preparation for the upcoming training camp in Hawaii, the Los Angeles Clippers have received promising news about the health of their key players, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

Leonard faced a setback last season when he suffered a torn right meniscus during the Clippers’ first-round playoff series against the Phoenix Suns. This injury limited his postseason participation, and he subsequently underwent a cleanup procedure on June 6.

Similarly, Paul George was hampered by a right knee sprain during the playoffs, causing him to miss significant games.

However, the Clippers’ President of Basketball Operations, Lawrence Frank, recently provided an optimistic update.

He confirmed that both Leonard and George are fully healthy and ready to participate in training camp, signaling positive prospects for the upcoming season.

“Both are fully healthy,” Frank said, per ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk. “I think both have had extremely productive offseasons, and obviously our two best players are totally invested in doing special things for the Clippers. They show it with their actions, so I think we’re really excited that they’re both fully healthy and will be full participants in camp.”

During the 2021-2022 season, Kawhi Leonard averaged 23.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.9 assists in 33.6 minutes per game.

Meanwhile, Paul George recorded impressive statistics with averages of 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.1 assists in 34.6 minutes per game.
