Nemanja Nedovic: “This year we have the best team in the history of Red Star”

Nemanja Nedovic has expressed his admiration for the newly formed roster of Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade for the upcoming 2023-24 season, describing it as the most impressive team in the club’s history.

During the offseason, Crvena Zvezda made several significant additions, including players like Milos Teodosic, Yago dos Santos, Shabazz Napier, Adam Hanga, Rokas Giedraitis, Dejan Davidovac, Nemanja Bjelica, Marko Simonovic, Joel Bolomboy, and Mike Tobey, strengthening their lineup.

“I think this year we have the best team in the history of Red Star, which speaks volumes about our ambitions in Europe, and I don’t even want to comment on domestic competitions,” Nedovic said.

Nedovic opted out of participating in the FIBA World Cup 2023 in mid-August due to concerns about his form.

How is his condition at the moment?

“I’m catching up, like the whole team,” he said. “The legs are heavy, we work hard. Simply, when you work and prepare for something every day, then the moment comes when you are ready. I hope we will show that at the beginning of the season.”
