Bayern Munich signed Serge Ibaka

After a 12-year absence, Serge Ibaka is making his return to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, as he has been officially unveiled as the latest addition to Bayern Munich’s roster for the 2023-24 season, finalizing Pablo Laso’s team lineup.

“For me, it is a privilege to join this historic, globally renowned sports club, so that the basketball team can rise to the top of Europe,” Ibaka said. “I had a long NBA career, but I approach this new chapter with a lot of enthusiasm – I still have a lot of fire in me and love the game.

“The fact that Pablo Laso is the coach was also a decisive factor for me. To me, he is one of the best coaches in the world.”
