Juan Toscano-Anderson among players at Warriors’ workouts

The Golden State Warriors are keeping their options open as they continue to host workouts for NBA veterans. Notable participants in these recent sessions included former Warriors Kent Bazemore and Juan Toscano-Anderson, along with Dewayne Dedmon, as well as free agents Will Barton, Jaylen Nowell, Stanley Johnson, and Derrick Favors, according to league sources cited by Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Toscano-Anderson split his last season between the Lakers and the Jazz. Last season, the 30-year-old averaged 3 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 13.5 minutes per game.

Kent Bazemore, a 34-year-old former Warrior and Laker, was another familiar face at the workouts. He spent last season without a team.

Dewayne Dedmon, 34, who divided his time between the Heat and the 76ers last season, also participated. He averaged 5.2 points and 3.5 rebounds in 11.2 minutes per game during the previous campaign.

32-year-old Barton split last season between the Wizards and Raptors, averaging 6.8 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2 assists in 17.7 minutes per game.

Nowell, 24, played 65 games for the Timberwolves last season, averaging 10.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2 assists in 19.3 minutes per game.

Johnson, 27, split last season between the Spurs and Sioux Falls. He averaged 5.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 15.6 minutes over 30 games in the NBA.

32-year-old Favors last season was on a 10-day contract with the Hawks but did play any games.
