It’s been a year since Draymond Green secured his fourth NBA championship ring with the Golden State Warriors.
Following his recent contract extension—a four-year, $100 million deal—Green is brimming with optimism about the team’s future.
But Green isn’t content with just four championships. In a recent interview with ESPN, the 33-year-old power forward expressed his belief that the Warriors’ core trio has what it takes to reach Michael Jordan’s historic six championship titles.
“I don’t like to necessarily put a number on things,” Green stated via Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN, “but I don’t see why we can’t get two more championships. Why not?”
Entering his 12th season, Green sees the upcoming year as a pivotal one for his career. However, his focus isn’t solely on personal accomplishments.
He emphasized, “It’s not to redeem anything about Draymond. My goal is that we can help Chris Paul get his first championship.”
