The Golden State Warriors have raised eyebrows this offseason with their acquisition of veteran point guard Chris Paul, who was previously part of the Washington Wizards in the Bradley Beal trade.

While the Warriors’ roster boasts a plethora of talent, it remains uncertain what role the 38-year-old Paul will assume in the upcoming season.

NBA insider Marc J. Spears, however, has offered some insight into the Warriors’ plans for Paul. In a recent appearance on the “Good Word with Goodwill” podcast hosted by Vincent Goodwill, Spears revealed that he anticipates Paul getting the nod as a starter, albeit in short, 5-minute spurts.

“I do expect [Chris Paul] to start. I think it’s like 5-minute spurts… I think they’re gonna try it… This isn’t an opinion, this is just what I’m hearing,” Spears stated during the podcast.
