Serbia is consistently regarded as a strong contender in FIBA Basketball World Cups. A significant contributor to their presence in the 2023 Semi-Finals is Nikola Milutinov’s outstanding performance.

The imposing center has been a force in the paint during his second World Cup appearance, recording three double-doubles and maintaining an average of 13.2 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.

In Serbia’s Quarter-Finals victory over Lithuania, a game they won 87-68, Milutinov contributed 9 points and 5 rebounds while also playing a crucial role in defending Lithuanian star center Jonas Valanciunas.

“He’s an amazing player and everybody knows this, and he knows that we trust him and we have a lot of offenses and set plays for him,” Serbian forward Marko Guduric said about Milutinov.

“He’s been one of the most dominant big guys in Europe for years, and I think he acknowledged this challenge with Jonas (Valanciunas), and I think he did an amazing job.”
