Marko Guduric dedicates Serbia’s win to Borisa Simanic

In three out of the last four FIBA Basketball World Cup tournaments, Serbia has secured a spot in the final four. In their latest victory at the Mall of Asia Arena, they defeated Lithuania with a score of 87-68.

This triumph was largely thanks to Bogdan Bogdanovic’s impressive shooting skills. Serbia’s journey in recent World Cups has seen them reach the semi-finals in 2010, make it to the finals in 2014, and finish in fifth place in China in 2019. Meanwhile, Lithuania will now compete in the Classification Games 5-8.

Marko Guduric was in a great mood after Serbia dominated Lithuania at the 2023 FIBA World Cup but there was only one man on his mind – Borisa Simanic who lost a kidney due to an injury sustained earlier in the tournament.
