Kemba Walker, a seasoned NBA player with a 12-year career, has embarked on a new journey by signing with AS Monaco, a move that brings him to the EuroLeague stage for the first time.
The 33-year-old point guard landed in Monaco to begin this exciting chapter and expressed his eagerness for the challenge ahead in an interview.
“It’s a big step, something different. Just looking forward to the opportunity. What better place to be than Monaco? It’s going to be some fun times,” Walker said.
“It’s going to take some time to make some adjustments. I’m looking forward to being in a different environment. learning my teammates, meeting new people, coaching staff, medical guys, everything.
“Basketball is basketball. That’s what I’m here for. I came to play basketball. I came to try and win games as much as we can. I hope I can help increase the notoriety of the EuroLeague, increase the solid play and just build it up more. I hope I can do that.”
