As the basketball world closely follows James Harden’s ongoing efforts to move from the 76ers to the Clippers, there’s a new aspect to the saga.

The former league MVP’s agent, Troy Payne, has offered an optimistic perspective on Harden’s physical readiness for the upcoming season.

He shared insights into Harden’s current discipline and commitment to his fitness regimen. Looking ahead to the season, Payne expressed his confidence in Harden’s determination to achieve the ‘best shape of his career’.

“His discipline right now is impeccable,” Payne said. “I’m happy that he’s starting now. We a whole month of August, whole month of September to get this thing going and get him in the best shape of his career. I think we can get there this summer. And I expect him to have a big season this year.”

Harden’s previous move from the Rockets to the Nets in 2020 was marked by a delayed arrival at training camp and noticeable physical challenges. However, Payne’s recent comments suggest a markedly different approach this time around.
