Omer Yurtseven: “Being a part of the National Team feels great”

Turkey beat Iceland 99-72 in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament group stage, with Utah Jazz’s Omer Yurtseven scoring 13 points and seven rebounds.

Despite his recent move to the Utah Jazz, big man Omer Yurtseven opted to dedicate the summer to the Turkish National Team.

“Being a part of the National Team feels great,” Yurtseven said. “Playing in front of our fans is a great honor. I’ve missed this. Seeing everyone’s interest, the love from the kids, it’s very exciting.”
