San Antonio Spurs guard Blake Wesley recently told Bryan Colbert Jr. how he dealt with adversity in his rookie season.

(via San Antonio Spurs):

“I had big adversity with my knee injury my second NBA game. It’s not what I expected, but I trusted God, had my family with me, had the Spurs organization with me, and just prayed every day about my knee injury. Got right back to it, came back in December, went to Austin, came back up and down because I had to get ready. I was out for seven weeks, so to get back ready; I was good and came back strong.”
