2004 #1 NBA draft pick Dwight Howard (Orlando Magic) recently recalled his confident pre-draft interview with the Chicago Bulls (#3 pick) on My Expert Opinion.

(via Math Hoffa):

“I met with Chicago, they had the #2 or #3 pick. They was asking me about what I felt about the draft and going to Chicago. I said, ‘I’m going #1. Don’t worry. I won’t be coming to Chicago.’ And it wasn’t like I was saying it to be mean to them, but it was like my mind was, ‘Number one. Number one.’ Nothing else was going to stop me from being #1, and it ended up happening.”
