Nuggets sign Jay Huff and Collin Gillespie on two-way contracts

The Denver Nuggets have added depth to their roster by signing 25-year-old center Jay Huff to a two-way contract. This move was confirmed by NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, who also reported that guard Collin Gillespie would join Huff on a two-way contract for the upcoming season.

Huff’s journey to the Nuggets began after going undrafted in the 2021 NBA draft. He showcased his skills with the Washington Wizards and the Los Angeles Lakers, eventually earning the NBA G League Defensive Player of the Year title.

Meanwhile, Gillespie, a 24-year-old guard, signed a two-way contract with the Nuggets after going undrafted in the 2022 NBA draft. Although he suffered a setback with a lower leg fracture, the Nuggets remain optimistic about his potential contribution once he returns to full health.
