Stephen Curry is the king of golf, at least for a brief moment. After casting his magical touch similar for the Golden State Warriors and in the NBA via a spectacular hole-in-one finisher, he delivered a major splash this time around by acing this year’s American Century Championship.

Moments after occupying the top spot of the celebrity golf tilt on the shores of Lake Tahoe in Nevada, Curry was hilariously asked if the taste of glory from the sport will convince him to hang his sneakers and make a new career for himself in swinging.

Here is his answer:

“Have y’all seen those CBA terms in the NBA? Life is good in the league, so I’ll be alright.”

The sweet feeling of the golf victory this summer won’t truly turn back Curry in his primary goal of continuing his hall of fame career in basketball. The 35-year-old superstar, who averaged 29.4 points and 6.3 assists last 2022-23 regular season, remains in prime to contend with his beloved Golden State franchise for years to come.

The fact that he will still remain the highest paid player in the association next season, it is truly difficult for Curry to pack his bag and leave given that he got a better chance to further elevate his coveted value from the brand new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) of the association once he enters another opportunity to ink a lucrative contract to follow up his four-year, $215MM extension with the Dubs.

For now, Curry will salivate every single moment of his triumph in the celebrity golf  event as he just became the first active professional athlete to pull it off since football star Al De Greco in 2020.
