Willy Hernangomez is bound to join Barcelona.
This comes after Spanish Liga Endesa announced Wednesday that Real Madrid won’t match Barcelona’s three-year deal.
Hernangomez was reportedly presented with a deal five days ago, and he will officially leave the NBA after years of play in the United States.
The 29-year-old Spanish big started his NBA stint back in the 2016-2017 season. He played for three different teams and spent the last three years with the New Orleans Pelicans.
He holds an NBA career average of 7.3 points, 5.8 boards, 1.1 assists, and 53.3 percent shooting for 344 total games.
