Warriors sign Dario Saric

The Golden State Warriors have signed free agent forward/center Dario Saric to a contract, it was announced today.

Šarić, 29, owns career averages of 11.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 23.7 minutes in 413 games (217 starts) over seven seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, and Oklahoma City Thunder.

The 6’10” forward appeared in 57 games (12 starts) with the Suns and Thunder last season, tallying averages of 6.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 14.1 minutes per game.

As a member of the 76ers during the 2017-18 season, Saric recorded career-high averages in points (14.6), rebounds (6.7), assists (2.6) and made a career-best three-point field goals made (157).

A native of Šibenik, Croatia, Saric was selected by the 76ers with the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft and played professionally in Croatia and Turkey before joining the NBA.
