Skip Bayless unimpressed by Victor Wembanyama’s Summer League debut

Victor Wembanyama made his highly anticipated Summer League debut in the game against the Hornets. The No. 1 pick by the Spurs struggled with his shot as he finished the game with 9 points (15.4% field goals, 16.7% three-pointers), 8 rebounds, 5 blocks and 3 assists in 28 minutes of play.

Sports analyst Skip Bayless watched the game and was not extremely impressed by the French center who is widely regarded as a generational talent.

“It was just one Summer League game, but I must admit, I wasn’t blown away by what I saw from Victor Wembanyama. He was well taught. He plays the right way. Astonishing skill for his astonishing height. But I didn’t see will-imposing or, obviously, physically dominant,” Bayless tweeted.
