According to a report by Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, the Suns are set to hold a free agent workout on Wednesday, featuring notable players Jabari Parker and Stanley Johnson. This workout presents an opportunity for both players to showcase their skills and potentially earn a spot on the Suns’ roster for the upcoming season.
Johnson, a 27-year-old forward, split the 2022-2023 season between the Spurs and the Sioux Falls Force of the G League. In 30 games for San Antonio, Johnson averaged 5.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists.
Parker, a 28-year-old power forward, has had a tumultuous journey in recent years. After signing with the Celtics in April 2021, he was waived and subsequently re-signed after clearing waivers. However, Parker was waived again by Boston in January 2022 and has been without a team since.
As the Suns host this free agent workout, they are looking to add depth and talent to their roster.
