Aaron Gordon won his first NBA championship just like almost every other Nuggets player. The 27-year-old power forward thinks that Denver has what it takes to repeat as champions next season because success did not change them.
“I believe that it can be replicated,” Gordon said during the postgame press conference. “The guys on this team are very humble. The humility is there, the IQ is there and these guys are workers. So championship or not, we don’t let it change our character.”
Gordon has two more years left on his contract and is expected to return to Denver next season.
