Denver Nuggets guard/Boston native Bruce Brown says seeing Shabazz Napier & Wayne Selden make the NBA gave him confidence that he could play in the league.

“Definitely a lot of hoopers from Boston that I looked up to like Shabazz Napier, Wayne Selden, those guys who I’ve actually watched play. I watched Shabazz play in the BNBL (Boston Neighborhood Basketball League) when I was there when I was younger. Without those guys, I don’t think I would be here. I didn’t think a kid from where I’m from can make it out. So those guys played a huge role in my success.”
