Draymond Green on guarding De’Aaron Fox: “I loved it”

Draymond Green was assigned to guard De’Aaron Fox in the second half of Game 4 between the Warriors and Kings.

The Sacramento star had five field goals in the second half after making nine shots during the first two quarters.

After the game Green was asked how the decision for him to guard Fox came about and how did he feel about that.

“I loved it,” the four-time NBA champion said. “Fox is a great player. He’s incredible. He continues to get better. Anytime you draw the assignment to go guard the other team’s best player, you appreciate the opportunity.

“And I definitely did and wanted to go out and try to help this team win. As far as that conversation went, they just told me ‘You got Fox’ and I’m like ‘All right cool.’ And I said, tried to take on that challenge and get this team what it needs.”
