The NBA will look to investigate the bump made by Dejounte Murray against a game official following the Atlanta Hawks’ 129-121 Game 4 downfall over the Boston Celtics on Sunday, a league source told ESPN’s Tim Bontemps.

A frustrated Murray headed directly and was caught colliding himself against referee Gediminas Petraitis after the final buzzer of their weekend loss, wherein he also appeared pointing to someone while walking away towards the locker room. For his part, Petraitis can only look puzzled at the actions of the star guard against him.

The league may certainly choose to impose either a game suspension without pay or a monetary fine against Murray since the conduct he showed was a form of an unsportsmanlike act.

Murray finished Game 4 with 23 points, nine boards, and six assists in 9-of-20 shooting, playing almost 40 minutes on the losing effort. Atlanta is on the cusp of elimination heading to Game 5 on Tuesday, as Boston seized a 3-1 series advantage behind Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum’s 31 markers each.
