Cavaliers domina Game 2 against Celtics, tie series 1-1

The Cleveland Cavaliers dominated Game 2 against the Boston Celtics, winning it 118-94 and tying the Eastern Conference semifinals series at 1-1.

After suffering a 25-point defeat in the series opener, the Cavs bounced back, outplaying the top-seeded Celtics on their home court.

Donovan Mitchell led the charge for the Cavaliers with 29 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists. Evan Mobley and Caris LeVert added 21 points each. Mobley also grabbed 10 rebounds.

Jayson Tatum (25 points) and Jaylen Brown (19 points) provided the bulk of the scoring for the Celtics, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Cavaliers’ dominant showing.

With the series now tied, both teams will head to Cleveland for Games 3 and 4, where the Cavaliers will look to capitalize on their home-court advantage.
