Draymond Green after Game 1: “It was fun, fun atmosphere to play in”

The Kings marked their return to the playoffs for the first time in 16 years with the home win against the defending champions.

Sacramento defeated Golden State 126-123 to take an early lead in the first round series. Draymond Green was asked about the atmosphere inside the Golden 1 Center.

“It’s a great atmosphere. It was fun, fun atmosphere to play in,” the four-time NBA champion said after the game. “And also what to expect, this is an organization, a city that has not seen playoff basketball in 16 years. You expect that atmosphere and it was loud.

“They were able to feed off the crow and I think we also handled the crowd as well. But we’re used to playing at hostile environments and this was a fun one to play in for sure.”
