To honor the outgoing franchise legend Udonis Haslem, the Miami Heat presented a video tribute that features the former teammates of their beloved veteran.
With two games left in the regular season schedule of the Heat this year, the franchise released Saturday the said tribute on their social media platforms, wherein the likes of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Shaquille O’Neal, and the others thanked and congratulated Haslem for a well-deserved career.
Started his NBA career as an undrafted cager from Florida, Haslem is set to hit retirement at the end of the 2022-23 season. He will join Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas Mavericks) and Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers) as players who remained in a single franchise for 20-plus years.
The 42-year-old big man emerged as an instrumental figure of the Heat’s golden era, as he went on to become a part of all their three NBA titles.
